We are delighted to announce that we have completed tunnelling for the Poland - Warsaw Metro Line II, a project that began in 2009 and became a reality thanks to the dedication, expertise and perseverance of our many employees. TBMs Anna and Krystyna worked tirelessly for over 9 months (August 14, 2024 - May 21, 2025) on the final phase of the tunnel extension, excavating approximately 3 km in length. The project involved approximately 3,800 concrete segments and over 3,300 tonnes of steel. This milestone paves the way for the next phase, which includes the construction of the tracks, platforms and supporting infrastructure. We are very proud of our team of engineers, construction workers and project managers, whose knowledge, dedication and passion are key to this success. These tunnels will serve millions of people for decades to come. They stand as a symbol of what we can achieve when we work together across borders, disciplines and challenges.
